Yi-An Chen is a Research Assistant in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Gruissem at National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. Yi-An received her M.Sc. degree from the Erasmus Mundus Master program in Plant Breeding at the UniLaSalle campus de Beauvais in France and the Universität für Bodenkultur (BOKU) in Austria. She is interested in novel crop breeding technologies and improving nitrogen use efficiency. Yi-An will focus on genotyping, phenotyping, and biochemical/molecular analysis of selected CASS3 transgenic lines. She enjoys working on traits that can improve the livelihood of smallholder farmers.
